I wrote Proposition 4 to begin addressing this emergency, but <strong>we need comprehensive reform led by the Insurance Commissioner</strong> that balances consumer protection with market stability, modernizes our outdated systems, and invests in community-scale solutions that reduce risk and bring insurers back. </p><p><strong>My plan will restore a competitive insurance market, ensure Californians are treated fairly after disasters, and build resilient communities that can withstand the climate challenges ahead.</strong></p>
